We had a great pub and a fascinating lecture by professor Olav Lysne on the 26th of September. We were hosted by Holte Consulting at their office in Skøyen. The atmosphere was positive, the refreshment was great, and the turnout was quite good, even though we competed with Obama who was giving a lecture somewhere else in town.
The CEO of Holte Consulting and Academy, Trygve Sagen, presented their course offerings in Project Management. He announced a generous offer of 10% discount on the courses for pub participants.
The lecture addressed digital vulnerability in Norway, taking us through the intricacies of developing modern digital services, and how various technologies, institutions and countries interact in the digital value chain. He touched on issues like privacy, security, foreign dependencies, and autonomy when it comes to critical national infrastructure. The presentation was an eye-opener, and the audience took home something to think about.
