The newly elected President of PMI Norway Chapter expresses his Thank You to all the members. 

Let me start my first post by saying Thank You.

Thank you for electing me President of PMI Norway Chapter, and allow me to say that I feel honoured that you are trusting me to represent you.

As I am writing this, I am on a plane heading home after spending this weekend at the PMI Region 8 meeting (R8) in Belgrade, where I have been accompanied by Barbro, Geir, Kari, Iroro, Pål, Jan-Håvar, and of course also Past President and now Regional Mentor Merete.

The R8 meeting is all about sharing experiences and learning between the European chapters. This is immensely important, because we can learn a lot from the successes of others, and from understanding the challenges others have faced.

As a first-timer at the R8 meeting, I am truly impressed, not only by the event itself, which was impeccable, but also by the spirit, and the really good discussions. It has been a weekend filled with passion for our profession, and in trying to sum up the experience, two words come to mind: FAMILY and VALUE.

Going forward, these two words will guide me in my work for PMI, and in representing you.

Thank you again, and I look forward to meeting a lot of you at future branch meetings and other arenas.
