PMI Pub Oslo - From Project Risk to Uncertainty Management

Ways of Working

PMI Norway Chapter invites you to a transformative seminar!

In today’s dynamic project environment, managing uncertainty is crucial to success. Join us for an insightful session led by Paul Cuypers, where we’ll explore a revolutionary shift from traditional risk management to a more comprehensive approach: Uncertainty Management.

Key Takeaways:

  • Redefining Uncertainty: Discover a visual model that differentiates project uncertainty from conventional risk and opportunity management.
  • Holistic Strategies: Learn four essential strategies to minimize project uncertainty and increase your project's chances of success.
  • Continuum of Events: Understand how risk, problems, and crises are phases of an event-driven continuum and how to tackle them with proactive, synergistic measures.
  • Next-Generation Agile Tools:
    • Power Kanban: Inspired by "The Invisible Gorilla," this technique sharpens information awareness, making your team more adept at identifying critical data through a customized Kanban board like Jira.
    • Agile Rolling Wave Planning: Combine strategic long-term planning with daily agile execution, creating a multilevel, iterative framework that satisfies both management and team needs.

Together, Power Kanban and Agile Rolling Wave Planning provide a proactive framework to reduce uncertainty and drive project success.

Don’t miss this opportunity to equip yourself with cutting-edge tools and strategies that will transform the way you handle project uncertainties!
