We are thrilled to invite you to the launch of a new initiative for our project management community in Oslo — PMI Cultural Days! This event series will bring us together to explore leadership, teamwork, and management concepts through cultural activities like movie screenings and book discussions, while also creating a space for networking and professional growth.

For our first event this January, we’ll be screening the motivational film "Remember the Titans". Based on a true story, the movie delves into critical themes like leadership, overcoming obstacles, and building unified teams—all of which are key to successful project management. After the screening, we’ll have an open discussion to reflect on these themes and how they relate to the challenges we face in managing projects.

During this kickoff event, we will also take a few minutes to explain how our book discussions will work as part of the PMI Cultural Days. Specifically, in January, we’ll start by reading "The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership" by John C. Maxwell. I’ll outline the process for the book discussions and how we can collectively apply these leadership principles to our roles in project management.
