Summer Party 2026: The Human Side of Sustainability

Business Acumen

What if sustainability is not just about strategy -  but about the impact we create in people’s lives?

You are warmly invited to join us for a summer evening where the PMI Norway community comes together in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

We will start with a short session featuring speakers who will share practical perspectives on sustainability and how it is being integrated into projects and organizations today. Going beyond frameworks and theory, the focus will be on real experiences, human impact, and the decisions that create meaningful, lasting change.

Meet Our Speakers

Vibeke Stæger-Holst - LinkedIn

Vibeke Stæger-Holst is a civil engineer on a mission to prove that concrete can be part of a sustainable future. As a Concrete Technologist and Sustainability Manager at Heidelberg Materials Prefab, she specializes in low-carbon solutions and shrinking the industry’s environmental footprint.

Vibeke thrives on turning global challenges into actionable innovation. At this year's summer party, she’ll take us inside the world’s first full-scale Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) facility at Brevik. Join her to discover how this "Brevik breakthrough" is rewriting the rules for sustainable construction and what a decarbonized industry actually looks like.

After the presentations, we will move into an informal networking session. This is a chance to connect with other professionals, exchange thoughts, and continue the conversation in a relaxed atmosphere over food and drinks.

Whether you are looking to meet new people, gain fresh perspectives, or simply enjoy a summer evening with like-minded professionals, this event offers a space to do just that - naturally and without pressure.
