Members-Only Lunch & Learn: PMO and Risk Masterclass
Members-Only Lunch & Learn: PMO and Risk Masterclass
Join PMI Norway Chapter for an exclusive Lunch & Learn combining expert insights, real-world cases, interactive discussion and professional networking at Delicatessen Aker Brygge.
This two-hour masterclass offers a more personal alternative to a traditional seminar. Enjoy two focused sessions, exchange experiences with fellow project professionals and discuss how the insights can be applied in your organization—all while sharing lunch.
How Modern PMOs Enable Large-Scale Project Delivery
How can a PMO evolve from a traditional support function into a strategic driver of project success?
Drawing on the experience of a PMO supporting one of the world’s most complex nuclear projects, this session will explore how modern PMOs can strengthen their strategic influence, evolve their operating models and enable successful large-scale project delivery.

Speaker: Joe Campa
Joe Campa is a senior PMO leader with more than 20 years of experience in project management, project controls and portfolio management. At Ontario Power Generation, he has supported major clean-energy infrastructure projects and contributed to the development of an award-winning PMO.
Risk Is Not Only About Your Projects
The risks that disrupt projects often sit outside the formal project boundary—in strategy, executive decisions, regulation and organizational assumptions.
This session introduces Enterprise Risk Management as the link between projects and the wider organization. It will explore how project managers can act as early-warning systems, why risk escalation is a leadership competency and how organizations can turn unexpected failures into preventable outcomes.

Speaker: Ivan Rincón
Ivan Rincón is an experienced project, programme and enterprise risk management leader. He currently serves as Executive Director, Project Management with the Government of British Columbia and holds several professional credentials, including PMP, PgMP, PMI-RMP and CISA.
