Online workshop: HEY, NOT SO FAST! Slow thinking for better decision-making
What can you expect from the event?
- You will get to know the techniques of an open-minded and highly productive thinking that will help prevent time-stealing and unproductive discussions, avoid thinking errors and increase decision quality.
- You will understand that slow thinking is counter-intuitive, therefore a conscious change is needed.
- You will understand how to develop your personal capacity and utilize the power of slow thinking for your initiatives.
- 3 PDUs for successful event participation
This will be an exciting event combining inspiring lectures with interactive exercises. You will practically apply and thus experience the power of slow thinking, ‘wow moments’ guaranteed.
Sneak preview: A major part of the training will be spent on “slow thinking in a meeting” (see above, L4). Here, you will get to know the three phases of slow thinking – (1) divergent thinking, (2) change of perspective, (3) convergent thinking – and the tools to apply them in practice.

About the speaker
Frank Habermann is a keynote speaker, book author and renowned expert for project design leadership. Frank is the co-founder of the international innovation community ‘Over the Fence’, and holds a full professorship at Berlin School of Economics and Law. In 2009 Frank co-founded the consultancy Becota – The Berlin Consulting and Talent Association (www.becota.com), and in 2013 "Over the Fence" (www.overthefence.com.de), a creative commons initiative for ‘people in projects’. Since early 2010, Dr. Habermann holds a professorship for Business Administration at Berlin School of Economics and Law (www.hwr-berlin.de). Together with Karen Schmidt, Frank Habermann is author of the game-changing books “Over the Fence” and “Project Design” (https://overthefence.com.de/the-book), and creator of a “Manifesto for Slow Thinking (www.overthefence.com.de/manifesto). His current work and latest book “Hey, not so fast” (https://heynichtsoschnell.com) proposes a novel model for decision-making in organizations.
