Experiences from the SmartChain project at Kongsberg Maritime Subsea
Implementing Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for supply chain visibility and giving critical success factors for implementation: Experiences from the SmartChain project at Kongsberg Maritime Subsea
Supply Chain Management projects have had a renewed focus in recent months due to issues with global manufacturing, logistics and transport caused by the pandemic. Norway has a large export industry of manufactured products, not just oil, gas and electricity. This manufacturing industry needs both imported materials and export of finished products and thus depends on upstream and downstream supply chains functioning. The Kongsberg Group with its many products and
services are major contributors in this export industry of manufactured products. Kongsberg Maritime Subsea designs, manufactures and delivers volume subsea products to the global subsea market. The speaker for this webinar is Emrah Arica, and he is engaged in the Kongsberg Maritime Subsea team, contributing to the Smart Chain Project. He works as a researcher at the department of Industrial Ecosystems at the Research Institute of SINTEF Manufacturing. He holds a PhD degree in Production Management from NTNU and an MSc in Industrial Logistics from Molde University College. He has extensive experience in management and execution of a diversified portfolio of R&D projects by leading and taking part in large-scale EU projects, long and short-term industrial research projects, and competence development projects.
The presentation will be in English, and we will use MS Teams for the webinar. It is no longer possible to register for this event
